Benefit's They're Real mascara review

Okay, first off I want to say I'm SO sorry for not writing ANYTHING lately, it's been a very.... eventful week...

Anyways so today I'm going to review Benefit's They're Real mascara! I ordered this from Sephora late last month, and prior to this I have always just used store bought stuff.

Okay so you can find this at Sephora or Ulta, at $23 at either place. (Depends on where you prefer to shop I suppose).

When you first start looking at this mascara, it SEEMS to claim that it will give you falsie-like eyelash length. (Of course it doesn't officially say those words, but with the name "They're Real" what else is one to believe?)

 PROS:

Honestly, I like that it's long lasting. Most mascaras that I have used in the past have started flaking onto my cheeks after like 6 hours, or smudged, and waterproof is damn near impossible to get off.
This thankfully is between those two! It doesn't flake or smudge, and it comes off just when you want to.

Another pro is that it doesn't burn like crazy! I mean yeah if you poke your eye it's gonna hurt, but it doesn't burn like you're staring into the sun like other mascaras often do.

It doesn't smell bad! I mean granted, it doesn't smell GOOD, it doesn't really have a smell. Why do I care what it smells like you ask? Because it's on my face right next to my nose. I've used some mascaras that smell like roses, which would be nice if it wasn't over powering. Some smell so bad that you can't even put it on. This one is NOT one of those.

It doesn't clump! Of course when used correctly it doesn't clump. Many other mascaras claim to not clump and then your eyes look like spider webs! This is true to that, and it even has a neat little thing on the end to grab those hard to reach lashes.

Sorry this is the only pic I really have of my use of it without wearing falsies.

Cons:

Okay so there's only one real con to this. It does NOT replace falsies like you are kind of led to believe. I still use my falsies. I have little baby lashes so I coughed up $23 for this in hopes that I wouldn't have to continue to use lashes and glue, but unfortunately I do. It's just not as dramatic of a change in length as advertised.
This is extremely dramatized.

 Conclusion:

All in all, I WILL continue to buy this mascara because honestly, the pros outweigh the cons! Let me know what you think of it!

So there you have it!

What should I review next?

Sincerely,
Miranda
XoXo

*Benefit Cosmetics did NOT pay me in any way to write this review. I purchased this from Sephora at my own will and decided to review it as I will with my other cosmetics.
