Okay, so now that the Thank You is out of the way, Welcome to my new blog! To be honest with you, I'm doing this as a "New Years Resolution" so it's more so for me, but if you happen to like it- then awesome!
I am doing this because I need a way to vent my frustrations, share my recipes, share my hair and makeup tips (which I have lots of), and basically to share my life experiences, which include raising my 1 1/2 kids (my daughter and the 1/2 is my husband.) ((just kidding hunny!))
This blog will include a little bit of potty mouth if I'm angry (one of my next posts will be about arm knitting, so be prepared...). Also there will be days of professionalism, like days that I'm sharing my sexual health knowledge (which I have lots of as well.) I have a lot to say and not many people to say it to.
So let me tell you a little about myself, so you can get to know me better!

- My name is Miranda, my dad named me after the Miranda Rights.
- I love pin up style. The hair, the makeup, the clothes, all of it!
- In fact, I've taken a pin up hair & makeup class by Cherry Dollface.
- I love horror movies, the old classics are the best. My favorite is Night of Living Dead, and I've met Judith O'Dea.
- I make horror inspired hair accessories, jewelry and home decor, check out my shop Facebook Page.
- I'm just getting started in pin up modeling, in fact I have not yet done a shoot, but you can click HERE to check out my Model Mayhem profile. You'll be updated when I finally get shooting.
- I facebook way too much. I avoid my homework by using Sims 3 or Facebook. It's awful.
- That's right! I'm in school full time! I'm going for my associates degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I graduate in May, as long as all goes well.
- I don't drink much, other than a glass of wine occasionally. If I drink more than that, I can't seem to stop,so I just avoid it all together. I also don't smoke, or do anything else for that matter.
- I am happily married to a sexy man who just self released a solo album, which you can check out HERE. We've been married since 5/28/11. Also he was recently picked up by a record label called SkyBurnsBlack Records!
- We have a beautiful 16 month old girl named Harley Quinn. Yes, we named our child after the Batman villainess, and we pay for it dearly because she lives up to her name. Also she's a booby baby. I'm a huge breastfeeding advocate, especially extended breastfeeding!
- I like to cook, but I LOVE to bake and cake decorate. I'm no master, but I've taken the Wilton courses at Michaels.
- I have 17 tattoos and counting. There's a random amount of bats, stars, zombies, lettering, band logos, and nerdy stuff like pokemon and 2 Harley Quinn tattoos.
- I have 8 piercings, but used to have a lot more, but they hate me and kept rejecting.
- I don't really have one person I would call a best friend, but my top contenders are Jeannette, Amber, and Alexis.
- I love video games. I'm an Xbox gamer (Sony can suck a fat one) and plan on getting the Xbox One soon. Why would a lover of it wait so long? Number 1- I'm broke as shit, Number 2- I like to wait so they can get the bugs out.
- Everyday is Halloween to me.
- We collect horror movie memorabilia. Our living room walls are decorated with Universal Monster movie posters, The Evil Dead, Night of the Living Dead, etc. It has horror movie figures, autographs by celebrities we've met, and more.
- Ernie Hudson held our daughter when she was only 3 weeks old.
- My favorite colors are red and black (Harley Quinn strikes again).
- I love the Munsters, I would have to say that and The Walking Dead are my favorite TV shows.
- I'm a sexual health educator and Senior Consultant with Pure Romance, and I love my job! My site is Here.
- My closet is riddled with clothing from Sourpuss, Switchblade Stiletto, and other brands from Angry Young and Poor, and my high heel shoes are all Iron Fist.
- It's not that I can afford these things, but I have built this up over time via gifts, gift certificates, and using coupon codes. Also sometimes a lady just has to treat herself, am I right?
- I love board games. Quelf is fun as shit and I want Cards Against Humanity.
- I love crafting, did I mention that? Next week is my last week as a Seasonal employee at Michaels (I was there for the discount!). I can scrapbook, cake decorate, make jewelry (with resin), and I am slowly venturing into crocheting.
- I curse like a sailor, and I have no shame about it. It actually can get me into trouble. That's part of the reason I'm on here, so I can swear still, but not have my daughter hear it. I'm trying to cut down. It's difficult.
- I'm a coffee and Pepsi addict. It's a problem.
- I'm not musical by any means, but I do love music. I love punk, ska, rockabilly, psychobilly, etc. My favorite song of all time is either Punk Rock Girl by The Dead Milkmen, or Subcultural Girl by Nekromantix..... Actually I have a list of favorite songs...
- Finally, I hate these lists, but I felt it was fit for you to get to know me before you see bits of my daily life.
